Reeling from his girlfriend’s sexual past, the sensitive Paul Lawrence runs off to Sydney hoping to attend art school. Instead he’s drawn into “THE SET,” the sensual Sydney art scene, becoming protégé to decadent designer Marie Rosefield. Surrounded by flamboyant men, camp queens and fierce sissies, Paul explores his sexuality and falls for the handsome Tony Brown, who is also dating Paul’s cousin Kim. Love finds a way, but things turn violent. Meanwhile Aunty Peg, bored with her husband, hunts for a “BIG BROWN BOY” to quench her thirst.
