Lewis used to be a solid mid-list novelist, selling enough to stay afloat but never enough to get rich. Now his books have stopped selling, his relationship is strained by constant money stress, and his publisher takes his next novel with no advance, releasing it as an e-book only. Forced into a teaching job at a local community college, Lewis meets a talented young writer who reignites his creativity and begins to consume his thoughts, pushing him toward a decision: keep writing, or give it up for good.
